Browsing GamedayGrid without an account doesn't send us anything beyond standard web traffic and anonymous, aggregate visit counts (see Analytics below). If you create an account, we store the minimum needed to make favorites, saved views, and screen setups follow you across devices. We don't sell your data, and we don't run any advertising trackers on the site.
If you never create an account: your favorite teams, watchlist, and filter preferences are stored only in your browser's local storage — we never see them. Standard server logs (the kind any web host keeps) may briefly record your IP address and the pages you request.
If you create an account: your email address, and (via Google, if you sign in that way) whatever basic profile info Google shares for authentication. Once signed in, your favorite teams, saved filter views, and screen configuration (how many screens you use and which games you've pinned to which one) are stored on our server so they follow you to any device.
If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback button, we store what you wrote along with some context that helps us reproduce what you saw: which page you were on, your active filters, your device/theme, and whether you were signed in. We don't collect this context any other way.
We use one functional cookie to keep you signed in between visits (set by our authentication provider, Supabase). We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see basic aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages, roughly where from. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other sites, and doesn't build an identifiable profile of you — it counts visits, not individuals. We don't use Google Analytics, Plausible, or any advertising network on the site.
Your account data is stored with Supabase, our database provider, and the site itself is hosted on Vercel, which also powers the aggregate analytics described above. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that authentication step directly — we only receive confirmation of who you are, not your Google password. If we ever bring a paid subscription tier live, payment would be processed by Stripe directly; we would never see or store your full card number.
We don't sell your personal data to anyone, and we don't share it with advertisers.
You can clear your favorites/watchlist/filters at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. To delete your account and the data tied to it, email us (see below) and we'll take care of it — we don't yet have a self-service delete button, but we will get to that.
GamedayGrid isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
If we add analytics, advertising, or new data collection in the future, we'll update this page first and change the date above — not slip it in quietly.
